Leuco Crystal Violet Filed Kit

Leuco crystal violet (LCV) is an effective reagent used to locate latent blood. It is the desired blood reagent for many footwear, fingerprint, and bloodstain pattern analysts. LCV reacts with the hemoglobin in blood, turning the stains a dark purple or violet color. The resulting reaction can be easily photographed on light colored backgrounds such as floors, counters, walls, and ceilings. Our kit contains three solution bottles with easy to follow mixing directions. Our test kits are labeled with lot numbers and spaces for expiration dates so you never have to worry about the reliability of the reagent. The working solution should be used within 30 days of mixing and unmixed shelf life is 2 years.
